As with many clients, eBook conversion is a new process and therefore with Pambazuka Press we went through a period of consultation during which time our staff guided and informed the client, answering any questions about the process as they arose. We were supplied with PDFs of the five books as well as specific instructions for how the publisher wanted the ebooks to be laid out.
A total of five books were converted into both ePub and Kindle formats. LJi spend time checking the files on the relevant devices to ensure there are no formatting issues, that fonts, tables and images display correctly and that the books are ready to be uploaded to Amazon and iBookstore.
